    Chaging fluids...

Ok, I want to run out and buy the best fluids to change out my transmission and differential(sp?)

    Questions are:

How much do I buy for each and what are the best?

    Thanks- Jay

Cool, I'll go with the Mobil 1.

    To get this straight,

    Tranny 10 quarts?

front and rear diffs 4 quarts?

    My Isuzu shop used:

14 qrts (Mobil 1 ATF) for the tranny flush and fill

3 qrts (Mobil 1 ATF) for the transfer/TOD cases

4 qrts (Mobil 1 Gear Lube Oil 75w 90 )for the diffs/ also added a lsd additive to the rear diffs.

    5 qrts (Mobil 1 10w 30) engine oil

If you are not having the trans flushed, you will NOT need 10 to 14 quarts of trans fluid. IIRC... I used 4 (?) for drain and fill.

Tranny capacity with converter is only 9.1qts and you will only get 3-4 out with a regular drain and fill.

Yes, you should. It requires supporting the trans and dropping the crossmember to remove the pan.
