    Weapon-R Intake ??

Hey this is my first post.. Well here it goes.. I bought my Vx about 4 months ago and since then have installed a Flowmaster 40 series delta muffler. Now I am looking into intake for it, I've see some of us Vxer's use a hotshot setup or a k&n. I have seen a Weapon-R kit for a 98-02 Honda passport. I know we share the same engine, so would this intake work on our Trucks? Thank you

    yep it works
However this looks better I think, it's on/was on Cyrks ride and it's an Ingen intake

No one has reported any real gain from switching their intake, but I have heard that it killed their gas millage, and makes a cool noise.

2001 Ironman Daily Driver... 3.5" suspension lift (OME912 springs and 1" spring spacer), ball joint flip, 1.5" front diff. drop, 33"x12.5 TrXus MT, 16x10 Eagle Alloy rims, Interceptor, PV muffler, K&N air filter, Alpine Supercharger, Bilstein shocks, and some trimming.

2000 Ironman Project LS-1 VX... very slow progress but someday....... ohhhhh someday......

I switched to an Injen intake about 2 months after buying my VX new and I noticed a gain in acceleration (not much, but noticable) and if anything my gas mileage got better. And yes, the noise is cool too... But as far as I know, nobody has done any dyno numbers on it.

Well Thank's, I may check out Injen too and see what one I like better. I've heard weapon-R intakes on cars in the past and they have a nice deep sound to them.

Did you take the Injen intake off? If so, why?

Injen has shown to discontinued the intakes but, injen shows to still be making theres. I will call injen later today and find out if they are still making the IS1750.

    Cyrk,

Looks Good! I have no clue what any of it is, I C an intake!!!! I guess this is all your supercharger stuff. Would you mind just going into a little description of what each Mod is (viewed) and how you feel about it... Like it was a pain to install, cost a ton, but this is what you get from it or, its not worth it, or whatever!!!!

    Thanks!

For anyone who has an aftermarket intake, and who may also be getting the Carbon Werks induction insert.... there is a cheap and PROVEN design already for cheap and easy use of these intakes with the insert. The air ported into the induction simply needs to be directed into the location of the intake filter. Sure beats that stock induction.

NC_VX that is a hacked up Hotshot intake with part of a VW aftermarket intake to be made to sit pretty with the SC.
