not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.
Ok, cleaned EGR today...and it didn't go as planned.
first off, the only time when anyone would ever have been near my EGR would have been
A) at the factory upon conception
B) at Isuzu dealer when they kept it for a month and a half trying to figure out just WTF was wrong with it and then they broke it, then they kept it for even longer replacing everything they broke
so, when I took off my EGR I saw that someone had stripped out the holes and must have drilled em out and tapped Helicoils in there...one bolt was fried.
so, I had to get out my tap set and rethread the holes...putting good bolt in it fell above Tranny and was lost ;eekp; ...got out magnet and went fishing...found bolt...put bolt in..got it this time...and what are the chances I had a bolt to replace the shot one???........but I did!!!;Dp; .....hopefully that cleaning will solve my starting issue and idling issue
Alright, I think that I need to clean my EGR. The link above does not seem to be working anymore. Can anyone give me some direction on this process.
Thanks,
Neal
