    VX 12-Step Program

Yesterday, I attempted to pass by a Hummer dealership. However, some kind of supernatural forces dragged me into the dealership for a closer look-see. I kicked off the Hummer attraction a couple years ago and remained dry, until yesterday. Okay folks, why should I keep my trusty ole VX instead of getting a Hummer? Logically thinking, the Hummer is a gas guzzling overpriced unnecessary waste of a lot of money. But it keeps begging me to replace my VX. This too kewl Hummer was loaded with just the features I want. I guess I need to begin with admitting I am a Hummerholic.

IMHO, The Hummer H2 is over rated. I would only buy that hunk of junk to get the ladies and that's about it.

I am seeing more H2's on the road these days then honda civics and THAT my friend is just pathetic!

However, if that is what YOU want then go for it, it's just not my cup o' tea, that's all

On the other hand, If you are talking about the Hummer H1 then that is a whole other ball game and I would advise you obtain one immediately if possible!

Get an H1, if that is too Pricey then wait till next year... There will also be a H2 SUT(Avalanche), the H3s will be out and you will be able to take a look at the H3T being the truck.

After reviewing the whole Hummer line up then make your choice. This way you don't end up wishing that you should have waited in case you fall in love with the newer hummers.

I personally think that in two years you are going to see HUGE drops in prices on SUVs. There are already some Manufactures coming out with hybrids on SUV as well as moving to desiel. The new Jeep liberty, Toyota Highlander, Ford Escape and the list will grow. All this will lead to SUVs that are more fuel efficient so they need to clear their lot for these vehicles and incentives will be given out.

If you can wait two years than I would recommend to put yourself in a cash position and either DEAL on GAS or buy a HYBRID.

The front of the Toyota strongly resembles their early model Cruiser (from the late 60's?). However, the rest of the vehicle looks good.

I can understand why it's tempting to snag an H2, but you'll never see me in one.

Take a Suburban and make it more square. There's your H2. Oh, and add at least $10k to the price.

GM IFS. It's no more of a 'wheeler than your VX. In fact, your VX is probably a lot easier to toss around the trails than an H2, and you're probably getting a couple more mpg out of it, too.

Take it from a Trooper owner. A VX attracts more attention than an H2. I know of four VXs here in Lincoln, and at least four dozen H2s.

One guys VX here in town has Chromeillusion paint all over it and sits on 20" Enkie RT6 wheels. It's sweet. A little too much pavement pounder for me, but sweet nonetheless. The point is, when he drives down the main drag here in town, people gawk.

When a guy drives a yellow H2 down the same strip, people keeps sipping their pretentious coffees.

First off, look at crash test ratings. Those alone may send you home in a Ford Focus instead. They have horrible crumple zones and repairs are outlandishly pricey.

    Happiness

    Bill,

The decision is simple. If you have the means and the cash then GO for what will make you happy. There is nothing like the feeling of being Happy be it with a House,Job, Vehicle, GIRL You get the point.

So .... If it makes you FEEL better everyday then I think you have already made your decision.

    Cheers,

I think Rickster's has 20 bling, bling spinners. Are there business decals on the truck?
