Not much of a difference as I can tell at this point, but I'm taking it easy on them. I was instructed to not ride to hard til the Zinc coating gets "rubbed" off. At the point of stopping it "rubs", like after you just got your car washed and your rotors are wet. After a day of driving(not much, I work at home) it got a lot better.

I've got those same discs - haven't had time to install them yet.

Jay, any idea if that braided line kit is lift friendly? Compiling my list for this spring's mod showdown and I would like to upgrade my rotors and brake lines, but I also have a 3" lift in mind.

Yes, Darlington lines are longer and originally designed for lifted vehicles but not too long for those of us who are not.

After a few days now and the Zinc rubbed off I rode a bit harder on them and yes there is a noticeable difference, a lot tighter. Coming to a complete stop, it stops on a dime(jerking stop) I'll have to adjust to that, or, I'm guessing it might mellow out in time.

It might be due to the fact that it's a new set up and with any break job you'll get the same results.

We'll see, but they look real purty.

    Question:

How bad would it be to take off the break dust guard, ya know the black disk thing behind the rotor?

I think it would a lot cooler with that off, saw a corvette with a similar set up and it did'nt have a dust guard on it.

    Chrome Rotor Covers

I can't remember where, but I've seen "Chrome Rotor Covers" that cover the entire interior wheel space (drilled and plain), they looked darn good by the way so do yours Jay, but with these 20" wheels that tend to collect alot of dust and grime I figure these would work better. Anyone have any idea where I can find em?
