I get 15.9x in the 1/4 mile. Alright Tone whats the secret to 14.xx's? I am going to try the TOD disconnect and front drive shaft dissconnected this summer, and see what it will do. Maybe I should shed my 175lb speaker box in the back LOL!

14seconds is quick. Never invisioned the VX as a quarter miler...... Gut it, stuff in a hot *** small block an' a Borg Warner mixer, then back it with a 9" Ford rear............ low 10's mofo.............wacha think??? Yeah, that's why I bought this car. By the by, did I tell ya............It's got a f'n Hemi!!!!!!
Last time I remeber when someone asked this question I think he replied along the lines of "Come to MOAB to find out;pg;"Originally posted by AlaskaVX

I have all the above on mine as well and, although I haven't dyno'd or run on the track, I can tell you the power is extremely nice!Originally posted by volume311

I have all of the above on mine too, but I am not running 14's I could shed some weight for sure but don't think I will get to the 14's. BTW, I remember that statement before, but it's pretty unlikely I will ever make it to MOAB. Is your track downhill? Or is ours uphill? LOL
Used a Beltronics Vector fx2 for the numbers
0 to 60 7.5
1/4 mile 15.8 @ 87 mph

At low 14's at that point were you running the NOS? I read here somewhere you had a NOS at one point.Originally posted by Tone
I've done low 14s at the track in mine...but certainly not with big rubber, kinda defeats the purpose of going to the track IMHO!
In my opinion NOS makes me very nervous, I've heard to many stories of blown engines.

uh... they already did! Check your Saab dealer... its the WRX with a pretty nosejob and nicer interior...Originally posted by t2p
.... if they could only wrap some 'more pleasing' sheetmetal around the WRX .........
Canadian VXer!
i was about to post the same reply ... and the 92X uses the 2.5 block instead of the 2.0 block, so there is a lot of potential left in the engine for modification.Originally Posted by mrtew

Whew, a blast from the past, hahahaha....
Ya know, it has me thinking though. I wonder if AP updates and other mechanical mods would work on a Saabaru. Probably not so much NOW, since I believe GM is now overlord of Saab, or is it they are back in control of their own company again.... I don't recall. But, if they are still sticking with the same Sube guts and WRX mods work on it, you could have one sick arse Saab.
Oh, um.... VX.... 0-60..... in mine..... never. In DC traffic, you never get to 60.

I don't remember where I read it, but the current Saab started it's life as a Pontiac G6 - same factory, same chassis...Originally Posted by WormGod
