Couple quick questions

1) My VX seems to be dragging. I had an oil change recently. Any other suggestions? I don't know too much about cars as far as maintenance. Should I get a full tune-up? What about a coolant flush? I've had it since summer 2001.
2) I was also wondering about my coating on my rims are peeling away quite a bit. I don't know if this would be covered under my warranty.
3) last one...I promise.... The ride itself is getting unbearable! This VX rattles terribly and I find myself "dodging" every damn little pothole in the road! (In PA this is practically impossible) How do you know if your shocks are shot?

2 - Try your dealer and/or talk to a Isuzu rep to see if the wheels can be replaced ........ although I have read the replacement wheels are no better .......

3 - My guess is the OEM shock absorbers are shot ....... this is not uncommon .........

No one will mistake a VX for a barcalounger, but the ride should not be that bad ...... maybe it is the color ? ......... my 2000 Firefox had four shot shock absorbers at 35K - three were totally shot and one only slightly better ........ four replacement KYB Monomax shock absorbers cost under $200 shipped from TireRack ..... these are not 'high end' - but work well and you should be satisfied ......

Oh, uh...well I guess I mean when I accelerate, it just seems like it's not doing it as efficiently as it could.
Maybe just my imagination.
I'll get the shocks checked. Thanks all!
