Unhappy Trying to plug the CD Changer back in...

Well, I pulled the damn Cd changer out of the dash about 6 months ago, and now I don't remember where to plug it in!

any manuals out there with visual schematics would help.

    Plus a speedy reply!

Well...I'm getting the feeling my post got bumped back so far with new posts to the board, that nobody saw it in the first place!

Once again..need some big help here trying to plug the original CD changer back into it's home but can't seem to find any loose wires or outlets(?)

It's been a while since I took mine out, but I think there is a wiring harness, kinda like a patch cord consisting of several wires, that plugs in from the CD player directly to the radio.
*I have my radio and CD player stored away. I'll go through some boxes and see if I can find it.*
Maybe someone else will chime in before then.

I have a Mitchell Isuzu Shop computer program that has exactly what you are lookin for. I went to the wiring diagram of the stereo/cd player and right clicked on the diagram....and it wouldn't let me copy it or save it. So I took a digital pic of it...but it looks like $@*%.

Sorry, but I tried!! What I can tell you is this:

    Wire from CD-----------------------------RADIO
    red------all to noise filter--------------NCA #12
Black all to noise filter----------------VIO #8
    yellow---all to noise filter---------------Blue #5

    Grey-----------------------------------------pink #11
    whit-----------------------------------------vio/wht #10
    gry------------------------------------------red/blk #9
    grn--------------------------------------------grn #7
    blu------------------------------------------blk #6
    org-------------------------------------------yel #4
    pink----------------------------------------wht 2
    vio------------------------------------------red #1
    ----------------------------------------------Brown (not used)

With all that being said.....it should have wiring harnesses that do all that for you.

    Ok VXers...I did it!

I had to pull out the ash tray and there it was; not too difficult but the plug was on a very short set of wires extending down from the radio(I guess).

I managed to take some digital pics if anyone has this problem down the road and I'll post them in my gallery.

My little contribution to this site and my fellow VXonians!

    Cya!
