    SC owners....look.

Have any of you ran into this problem? There seems to be a oil discharge coming from the lower cone. I'm wondering is there supposed to be a gasket in there? It's hard to tell if mine dose.
Could it be there is to much oil in the SC and this is being pushed out(mind you there is no oil leak where you put in the oil)?
After about a week it's got a little worse from what you see here.
I tried tightening the bolts to see maybe if they were loose, no go, they are snug.

    What should I do?

I've sent pics to Alpine and I have not heard back yet.

The rear of the snout, or front of the compressor case appears to be a machining problem or gasket if it's got one. Did you get an exploded view with the paperwork? Look for a gasket. Might be just rtv/silicone sealed.

I'm more concerned with the apparent front seal leak. How's your belt tension?

Is the s/c factory filled with alpine's oil?Recheck the level.

"Set belt tension to the supercharger so that the belt can be turned 90 degrees (1/4 turn) between the sc and idler pulley with difficulty"

Make sure that you tightened the snout support with zero tension on the belt. There is enough leverage there to cause a leak like that.
