Ive always wondered what the slow on the top left of the dash is for? Is it utilized in japan? Do any of you guys have any use for it. Would be cool to put a screen of some kind in there but thatd be one expensive mod =)~

1999 of the 1999 production run!
AKA the "Fuzzy hole". It's actually a bin added on to cover the hole that the orginal switches used. The VX dash is really from a a Rodeo, I believe around a 1994 model but I'm not exact on that one.. There is a bezel available to mount switches if you choose.
Here's a parts list
Fuzzy Hole replacement switch bezel p/n 8-97107-569-0 ($12.26)
Foglight switch (from 98-newer Rodeo) p/n 8-97125-279-2 ($18.73)

For a lot of us it's where your VX Hot Wheel goes (matching color of course)

Speaking of fuzzy. I dont know about you guys but my cars vents are lined with a fuzzy material...unlike any other car ive owned. As long as I can remember the top part of the slots has had a white discoloration any of you share in this interesting mold specimen? Has anyone added the foglight switches in place of the blank spot? Would be nice if they worked for the stock fogs. Take it easy.
You people are insane ! (heh heh but so am I )
There are no "stock fogs" on a V-Cross, those little round ones in the lower valence (front pan) are just glorified running lights.
I am thinking I should rip 'em out and whack in some of those 60 watt halogens, the little round ones that ARE THE SAME DIAMETER as those rinky dink running lights.
A happy co-incidence I would surmise.
God is a comedian playing to an audience too afraid to laugh.
I put 55w fogs in there after Donny Cruce showed me his. Work great and they're less filling to boot!

BTW, the fuzzy hole is also perfect for installing the remote display unit for the Valentine One radar detector.
I use mine for my cell phone. I always thought thats what they were for. All the newer hondas have them too.
