Yep, that's what I guessed. Just lift her another 1ft and get some wider meat.

I had 33x13.5s on an old Toyota pickup and she was nasty looking. Heavy offset on the rims was needed since it only had a 3" lift though.

I think it looks like a bada$$ VX. You can always play with wheel offsets and wheel/tire widths & combos to suit YOUR tastes!

I just know if I was in my Fiero and saw THAT THING in my rearview mirror I would be "concerned"

    LOL!

    Can you say intimidation!

It's a good thing he lives in Alaska, not only would I be concerned if I saw him in the rear view mirror, the last thing I would want to see is that beautiful BEAST parked next to me, then it would really make mine look "CUTE"

I am looking at the OME 912 lift (~2.5"),
    The KMC Venom's in 16" (Spazz's wheel type-Zero offset)
Off road mudders in 295/75/16 size.

Should be about 11.6" wide and 33.4" tall.

I know I'll have to cut, question is: Will it work with the equipment I've listed above?

Just my opinion but I think the wider one is over the top, unless you plan on monster truck rallays. Me likes yours just the way it is. (just as long as it's not parked next to mine)

    Good job Whaleboy.

Over the top? And the skinny ones arent still "over the top" (no pun intended)? I think that if you wanna go that high in the first place, you should aim high (no pun intended AGAIN!). Them fat meats look awesome!

But, it is D's VX.... it's still very nice regardless. AFterall, its a VX.

The wider you go the heavier they are. You are probably pushing your axles and CV's to the limit as it is running 36's. Be prepared for breakage. Especially if you "use" it!

I know the front axles will wear quick and break sooner. I can hear them clicking when in 4 low. in regular drive mode the T.O.D. is disenguaged and I have manual hubs, so it is in 2x most of the time. but when the c.v.'sblow up, I have an excuse to go w/a solid axel front end. oh ya'

    .......

go with a GM 1 ton IFS front axle with high angle drive lines and locked and you would be bullet proof.
