Wow;eekp; I like it, now you just have to add a bull bar to complete it!
Looks cool.....also looks like it will tip on a dime.

hey all, I have a calmini suspension that I modified to make it about 4-5 inches of suspension and I built a 3 inch body lift out of a trooper kit. for wheels I have 20 inch dantes and for tires I have 36 inch swamper IROKS. as far as ride quality, I have had more of a problem with the wheelie effect than tipping over sideways(and i get my rally on). pics of me parked on a geo prizm are soon to come
not into crazy lifts but this is an exception... i think it looks great! i also like the hood insert (minus the silver paint) where did you get that scoop?
anyway, GOOD JOB!

But those tires will wear FAST . Don't plan on more than 15-20 road miles with those babies.

EXCELLENT ! best lifted VX I've ever seen, I hope you sent a pic to TRUCK TRENDs readers rides contest. That's one VX that can TRULY be called a BEAST, I'm sure no one will call that one cute.

It's the love child of a Hummer & SLK, uniquely rugged & SLeeK
That looks wicked cool. How many dollars did you invest to complete this lift project? How about a wheelie picture? Many kudos!!!
hope you changed you gears out to at least 477 or 538's??
I bet you lost ALOT of performance with those big tires.
Tires are to skinny! Looks like a city boy in tight jeans!

I dont have that much money into the lift. The calmini suspension cost me the most, I think it was about $600 shipped to alaska. The body lift is a 3 inch calmini made for the trooper2. The body lift kit was only about $150, but the killer there was time. I had over 25 hours into the body lift install. As fo tires, They are a 36x13.5x20, and that is the widest I can go w/out serious cutting.
The Calmini Springs sag after a short period and bounce too much. OME 919's would be much stiffer and taller.
The Shocks are way too soft not so good.
The front bump stop extensions are not needed.
You could make your own brake line extension bracket.
The Trac bar extension and rear bump stop extensions are useful.
You made your choice though and I hope you are pleased with it. I know what it is like when someone bags on your project and you thought you did your best.
I don't think it's the tire width that's the issue, but the offset. I think a lower offset would give the truck a wider stance, which would sort out your proportion issue. Right now, it looks like a skyscraper. To suit my taste, it should look more like a pyramid.
