    Gotta Roll in them Lexanis

Just bid on some 18" Lexani VP Offroads. Ironically, these will be my ON road wheels

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...921629176&rd=1

Nice looking wheels, and at a decent price!

I'm a little worried about the size and offset, though (18x10 / -24mm). I'll probably have to trim a little go get them to fit ok.

    Whaddya guys think?
    Steve

LOL @ mud pimps I would never take those offroad!

    Here's a chop of them w/ some 285/60/18 G-Force's:

Here is an awful chop of them on my VX:

And my VX w/ current offroad setup.

Damn. I just took some measurements. Looks like these things with 285/60's would require MAJOR trimming of my fenders! Not good! I think I'm gonna have to back out of the auction. Never done that before.

I'm running 285/55/18's on 18/8.5wheels, only minor trimming.

John, what's the offset? Do you have pics?

    This is the wheel.

I had to trim maybe ¼" off the corner of the trim to make it clar at full lock.

I think 285/50 would have cleared with no trimming.

Ok, so your offset is +20mm

That means the -20mm wheels above will stick out over 1½" more than yours. That will cause major rubbing!

I found a set of the wheels in +10mm offset. That should make them drivable on the VX without lifting.

I'll let you guys know what happens!

    Thanks for the info John!

The width of the rim along with the offset is going to prevent you from using these rims and if you’ve lowered your VX, no way. Look forward to the pics.

    Here's a pic of an H2 with them: http://www.thehummerexperience.com/Hummer/HUM_057_3.jpg

I don't think the wheels will pose a problem with the +10 offset and 285/50s or even 285/55s.

The seller just bought the last 3 sets of them in +10 offset and polished (not chrome) finish. I think they'll look less blingy, and he wants less for them - $800 for the set.
