    H3 off road pics

For those interested in seeing the H3 in some off road action... http://www.rubicon-trail.com/public/HummerH3/

not what i was expecting to see

    kinda Honda Elementish in styling.
I like the extended fenders, too bad that's was it's only distinguishing feature.
i hope the final will have more character, this ones seems a bit lacking.
but owning a VX skews my opinion of every new model that comes out.
and every time i see a concept i get this crazy thought that if the VX went into production maybe this one will too!

I love the H3 pickup concept, just no place for the dog and wife together.

    ouch

I'm sorry to say, I don't think the vx is gonna be much of a match to this puppy, I found this info off of a site that had some spy photo's but I'm not too certain they're company released specs.

3.5L displacement double overhead cam (DOHC)
inline 5 cylinder configuration gas engine
    20 valves variable valve timing
    turbo 350 hp @ 6000 rpm
    350 ft-lbs. @ 3600 rpm

Kinda hard to say what it looks like... besides the fact that you can just search on the net and find a million pics of it. At first I was thinking, it looks like a cross between a Liberty and a Xterra... then I realized they vinyl-ized the hell out of it. Now, the more I look at it... through the costume... the more I like it. Looks wise, it's much better than the overly bloated H2.

If those stats (listed above) are right, it could be a nice performer.

it will look like all hummers but here is an idea

but if you look at this picture then the off road pics you can see through the cover and get a better idea. They said it will be priced in the mid $30,000s which I think is a Great price as 4WD 4runners,Pathfinders, Rubicon owners are in that ball park.

And in the end they will most likely become $30,000 POS posers with spinner rims!

It is based on the Canyon with the Inline 5 cylinder engine with the addition of a turbo. In the mid 30's I am sure you will see twice as much on the road than the H2s.

The Durango is made by Chrysler, and is based off their small-truck platform.

That drawing isn't even close! The spyshots are totally accurate except that the retail version doesn't have the grille curtain or the crazy black trim paintjob. The two pix you posted right above that one are totally accurate including the shot of the thickest steering wheel GM has ever produced, which actually started when the shop leather-wrapped a prototype steering wheel that already was the thickness of the 'final' wrapped version.

    H3 finally revealed

    http://www.rockcrawler.com/features/.../hummer_h3.asp

Looks like an H2 to me but only more economical. For Being high tech it has the Low tech rear leaf spring suspension.

isn't the colorado pickup using an isuzu transfer case? wouldn't it be interesting if the H3 was too and we could get their 4.03 gears.
