Lightbulb IMPORTANT - SC Throttle Cable Adjustment!

To all who have installed the Alpine SC kit, be sure you have left at least 1/2” or more slack in your throttle cable, especially if you offroad or use 4 Lo. There were 2 of us this past weekend who had not used 4 Lo since installing the SCs and but otherwise had no problems. If the cable does not have sufficient slack, it causes the throttle to open when put in reverse (especially while in 4 Lo) and it is exciting to say the least. If you look at stock VX throttle cable, there is almost enough slack to allow removal of the cable or at least pull it out of the groove and that same slack should be on the relocated throttle body.
