Van Gogh Shot !

Today the sad news has reached me that Theo van Gogh(yes, he was family of that great painter) was shot and stabbed to death.
Theo was a remarkable dutch moviemaker who's drive was to start public discussions everywhere over sometimes hard to discuss issues.He was one of the great dutch guys for whom freedom of speech was the greatest thing on earth.This is one of two public figures who has become the victim of a brutal murder within a short period of time.
The political impact is huge as the man who did this is a member of the islamic society in the Netherlands.
What has the world come to?

Apparenly silenced for his outspoken artistic vision. Here in the United States his killing probably won't get much airtime, but hopefully after our elections there will be some recoginition of his work. This is a sad loss.
