... Only issues were with half arse services performed by others, but the VX being the tough SOB it is, is holding tough. It still looks and runs like new, just need to be more carefull about who does service on it.

Bought on December 2nd 2004 with exactly 51,000 on it and in a month and 19 days I have put over 4,000 miles on it already! So for you who still struggle with 2nd grade math that equals 55,000 miles total class (just trying to help).

36,600 at this time.. tranny went out at 25,000 miles.. overdrive caused a catastrophic failure. 10/120 replaced it free..

about to hit 130,00 in like a day or two. no major problems, just electrical, but its fixed now and running and perrrrring like a champ, i love my ironman.

We should probably poll every year as I originally answered back in 2004. I currently am about to hit 100k - only major item has been the ABS unit, next (in cost) were the TOD speed sensors. Otherwise it's been smooth sailing since 2001.
