Ft Lauderdale Bike Show 2004 Highlights

I got the chance to attend another great event here in Sunny Florida, so far I'm really diggin this place.
Here are some of my favorites:

    Such great artwork

    and Detail

    Moving Scupltures

There was even a Carbon fiber chopper

This is Eddie, the winner of the "Battle of the Builders" competition

This is the sick chopper he built

It even has a rear view cam

I had the honor to meet Russel Mitchel from Exile cycles (you may have seen him on the discovery channel series "Big Biker Buildoff")

What good is a custom bike show without a bikini contest:

    and the winner is:

The "Harley Davidson Twins" were there as guest MCs

We observed a moment of silence in rememberance of "Indian Larry" an Icon in the chopper world.

Wow... pretty cool! I thought Exile Cycles was in the UK? Maybe I'm thinking of another shop... although that name and that dude looks like the same guy I thought I remembered seeing as a UK shop on the show (maybe not).

By the way, those Harley twins... nasty. Not even "butter face" going on there.

Just looked at the Exile Cycles site... those bikes are sweet!!

I probably WAS at work. Still, I can leave if it's an emergency (this seems like an emergency to me!!) Didn't go to the parade. Was it any good?

Naw, this show was held at the Broward county convention center at Port Everglades, in early November as far as I remember.

Yes, Russel Mitchel is from the UK, he migrated to the US a while back. Exile cycles is located in Sun Valley, CA.

Oh, and yes those bikes are indeed sweet, I got to sit on two of them, too bad they did not let him do a burn out at this show.
