Over 20 years of Isuzu enjoyment...
This is what we have to deal with too here in VT...plus Deer, Bear, Horses and those damn Bovines "running wild" across our highways.
A day does not go by here where animal meets metal...FUN!
John
I just about had to hit a moose to get him to move out of the way this morning. We have tons of moose here and that kind of thing happens all the time. The moose in the wire was crazy, I will try and find it.
EDIT: Here it is....
2001 Ironman Daily Driver... 3.5" suspension lift (OME912 springs and 1" spring spacer), ball joint flip, 1.5" front diff. drop, 33"x12.5 TrXus MT, 16x10 Eagle Alloy rims, Interceptor, PV muffler, K&N air filter, Alpine Supercharger, Bilstein shocks, and some trimming.
2000 Ironman Project LS-1 VX... very slow progress but someday....... ohhhhh someday......
AlaskaVX,
OK...I'll Bite....
HOW DID THE MOOSE GET UP THERE???? Or Should I Ask???
John
They were putting up the wires up and the moose was playing with the wire (most likely it was moving in front of him and he got pissed and started hitting it with it's antlers). I'm not sure if they use a come along or a winch to pull the wire tight, but the antlers got caught and he went up with the wire. They didn't notice it since they were a ways up the wire but when they came down they saw a struggling moose hanging in the sky. ;eekg; :laughp:
That moose must have been like OH CRAP what did I get myself into.
Too flippin funny...my kids got a kick out of that one.
