Assimilate this .........
So for the non golf educated -- what is FBR? And when is this event?
FBR is the Tournament Players Championship Golf game held in Scottsdale Arizona every year. It use to be called Phoenix Open until the game was bought and changed the named to FBR. FBR open starts Jan. 31st to February 6th. You can check out http://www.fbropen.com for more information.
Tiger woods made his famous Hole in One on Hole 16.

Tickets are about $25 and if you don't like golf well you can always hang around in the pit to drink some beers and watch sports on TV.
There is an after game party held at the Bird's nest and tickets for that party are usually sold out quick and cost too much. http://www.azcentral.com/sports/golf...rdsnest30.html
What you see on TV is not usually how it is at these sporting events. Nice people, hot women and just a good time to have fun. The FBR Open sometimes has a reputation of being too party atmosphere.
I am up for a little golf or just meeting some VX's for some beers.
Cheers,

Hey AZskyrider! I'm not much into golf but it will always be the Phoenix Open to me and yeah the Birds Nest rocks! My fiance and I just bought our VX less than a week ago and we love it. A few things that need tweaked but other than that we love it! It's good to see a few VX's in the Phoenix area. I've only seen one in the 7 years i've lived here. We should plan a Phoenix meet and everyone in Arizona get together!
I'm up for a Phoenix trip. It would need to be on a weekend. A few beers and some golf watching sounds good to me. Welcome to the AZ VXer gang mr Stinger!
If I only lived closer...
I've never been to a PGA event, and I'm sure the FBR would be one of the more fun to check out. Be sure to wear you VX hats and maybe we'll all see you on tv.
