I know from experience, Joe_Black's method works great. I switched over to AMSOIL Synthetic ATF and my tranny shifts better than ever. Process is very easy, even for an amateur mechanic like myself.
Only thing is I would still like to change the filter, just for my own piece of mind. If anyone knows how to do it, please post some instructions!
