    new nitto mud grappler tires

hey everybody i'm new to this, and this is my first thread. anyway i've had my vx for about 2 months now and i love it. i heard about these new
mudd grapplers from nitto so i went on the web sight(nittotires.com)to check them out. these tires are awsome, very aggressive. they would look great on the vx. the smallest size i found were 35"s. my question is could i get these to fit and what do i have to do to make them work?

Depending on the width you could get them to fit but it won't be easy. You would probably need 5 inches of lift. Not an easy feat with the IFS. There are a few on this board running 35 & 36's on there VX's. Tires that big will not be easy on your stock axles either. Especially if you use it off road. The general consenses on the board is the largest tire the axles will handle are 33's unless you are extremly easy on the gas pedal. Also check some of the wheeling site for reviews. They are not highly rated for off roading...thin side walls. On the road they wear fast...soft compound.

I am looking at the Mud Grapplers right now... I plan to upgrade from my Terra Grapplers when the V8-VX hits the road sometime in the next few months... they smallest size available are indeed 35x12.50x18... I don't see a problem fitting them. The big question like Triathlete mentioned is about the axles and if they will handle it... this will be aggrevated by the 310+ hp and 325+ pounds of torque I will be putting out (hp and torque based on my experience with other LS1 powered vehicles I've had... those are rearwheel numbers btw)... I'm gonna have to be REAL nice to my VX! lol Anyway... there is a very limited selection of mud tires out there in 18" sizes... not sure WHAT I'm gonna get but I WILL be getting new tires for the trip to Moab. Later!
