    BFGoodrich g-Force T/A...

Anyone know anything about these tires? I saw them on a Touareg at the LA Auto show they looked amazing, very aggressive tread pattern... Think I might get them to replace my Toyo Proxes S/T Tires 255/55/18, with these in a 285/60/18.

It is a nice looking street tire, great track/street tire. Looks as if they would do very well in the rain. But I wouldn't drive them off road, and I don't think they would do any good in the snow.

    Lightbulb

I came very close to getting that tire until I researched Kumho and settled on the Ecsta STX. That's what you should be looking at. I'm a total Kumho convert, especially after seeing them first-hand in competition in rally and road-racing (Sebring, Moroso, Homestead) with incredible endorsements from owner/drivers.

After putting them on the Dragon I was not only impressed by the handling and ride, but how quiet they were as well.

We have run them on a supra and on a camero with great results. They are awsome street tires, and they even handle the wet stuff pretty good too. They do wear a little fast but that the price you pay for traction, they stick like crazy to dry pavment.

I put the profiler g on my girlfriends old kia and even on that with a relative skinny size, they gripped awsome, and very good in the wet.

I got the toyo proxes TL-1 on my supra, but my back ones are wearing down twice as fast as the fronts, I dont tend to do burnouts, they just grip.

Fast wear...awesome handling...big price tag...hard ride(like solid rubber) Burnt up a set very quickly, and don't think it would be my first choice again. In no way an off-road shoe.

The Kumho's have done well by me. I don't really off road except some dirt roads down to the beach. They feel good in rain and feel excellent on dry pavement. They're 275 17's. And they look INCREDIBLE on the VX!!
