Hello,
Has anyone performed a valve adjustment on their own on the VX?
I've done it on Porsche 914's, 911's, and a Ford Festiva... Is the procedure the same as other non-hydraulic lifter engines?
Couldn't find any info using a search.
Thanks,

Might want to download the VX workshop manual from my site and see what is discussed there - I have not heard of anyone here having it done but it is listed as a service item. Let us know what you find out.
i have not done it but it does use shims.they go between the lobe and the tappet.there is a special tool used to push down on the tappet to change the shims. shawn
