19lb - more than enough for even the SuperCharged ones - now if someone can just crack that ECm and alter the pulse....

I talked to a unichip dealer in Illinois. The chip installation (which could be a pain because of no specific unichip plug N play) and tuning could run to $ 2000. As is now with the supercharger, tuning could produce a 20 to 40 HP gain, though . . .

Realize we are already at the transmission's limit of power handling - more could cause problems....

I've read in at least one place that the ECU was a GM unit (slightly modified of course). Has anyone else heard this?

It is a gm based unit but the LS1 edit will not work on our units. I am still working on finding someone or some thing that will since i will be giving my motor a little more boost than the Alpine kit does.
