Door Panels

Anyone out there ever cover the fake C/F on our door panels with leather? I was thinking of either having them covered in a gray leather or painted the kaiser silver to match the body. I just can't seem to leave her alone, I need a new project.

Any thoughts? Good idea or "what are you thinking"?
