I am so psyched. Installed Tone's Safari bar and PIAA 520 lights. This is just the beginning of tricking her out.

I find the license plate rather annoying. I need to find out what California law states regarding front plates. Looking forward to a weekend of driving with my VX.

i did the same mod to my vx too. but instead of the piaa 520 i put up a pair of the piaa 550s. which are the biggest lamps in the piaa family~

I learned the hard way that it is illegal in California to not have a front plate. $30 bucks later the plate went on. I see lots of cars without them but perhaps the VX gets a little more attention and scrutiny by law enforcement..

i bet you don't want to do that. cuz the piaa 550 lamps are way too big. and Tone's light bar are only good for those smaller lamps. (when i tried to install them, there weren't enough space to install at all, the lamps were pointing all the way down)

i did think of selling them after i found the problem, but i did not after all. so i went decided a custom light bar extention in order to get them installed.

i always wanna post some pics up so ppl can see how i worked out with that mod, but i just don't know how to upload pics.
