    Hum...

You are lucky I check this forum. For some reason I rarely check this Forum. I used 3 boxes and could have used 2 more sheets.
Inside of the doors and the outer panels. And dynamated every inch the carpet covers and all sides of the VX. And about 90% of the rear door. So look it up on Ebay and you will get the best deal. I payed $360.00 for the three bulk boxes delivered to my door. HAVE FUN AND buy a little roller to smoooth out the dynamat. Feel free to email me with questions.

Ouch, Dynamat is $85 /box at local Best Buy. $360/3 boxes is like full retail or something.

He's probably talking about Dynamat Extreme which is a fair amount more expensive than the regular stuff. This website says that it MSRP is $250 for one box of 36 sq feet.

So far that website is the only one I've seen that lists specific performance numbers for dynamat and the other sound-dampening treatements so that you can make a (more) educated decision.

Check around, the prices can vary quite a bit. I bought 3 door kits (36 sf) for about $140

I just went on ebay and purchased the Extreme Dynamat bundle for $98 each + shipping and d@m* California sales tax. So far that is the cheepest yet for the real stuff, any one out there find it for cheeper?

    Easy Killer....

We all appreciate you enthusiasm, but research some prior threads
To date, I've done the doors, tale gate and the hood. Its pretty easy, take off any coverings (door controls pop off to uncover two sheet metal screws that help keep the door panel in place, unscrew the door release and then the door pops around the bottom of the door-lift up to get the covering off) Clean all surfaces where you want to put the Dyanamat. Take your time and use that rubber roller...
    This one's a freebee...
