Hello all,
Anyone have the RAZO shifter out there? I was wondering if it fit with our VX's?

Hello all,

try searching under "razo" - I know Worm God and NYC Ironman both have (or had, in the case of NYC) Razo shifters. I know there was an issue with ratlling that was also addressed here. I tried the search and it shows up a number of threads on this topic. Good Luck!

I have the RAZO shifter. It does fit with no problem. I did have some rattling which is cuased by the overdrive button. I fixed it by putting a less tiny drop of glue. since their is no need to use the overdrive button in my VX. I beleive some of the other members have the shifter as well, try checking out the photo galleries and I'm sure you get a better look of how it looks installed.

Thanks gentelmen!!
I have the knock-off of the Razo shifter known as the OBX Tomcat A/T shifter:
I read about other VX'ers troubles with rattling so I took their advice and slipped shrink wrap over the internal compression spring and lightly coated it with silicon grease before installing shifter in VX. Also coated the Overdrive button (unused) with silicon grease and thus far coming up on 1 year absolutely no rattling issues whatsoever!

Mine kept rattling then kept falling apart even after i would glue it. it looks great but i wasn't happy with the quality of it, and i had 2 different ones put in there... i guess the best thing to do is to take the advise of what others did because its a hot looking shifter, better than the plain stock one...
