    Scan Gauge

I just installed the Scan Gauge which I received through Tone. That thing is truly awesome and it took me 15 minutes to install:

    Fuel system loop status
    Intake air temp
    Water temp
    Fuel pressure
    Gallons per hour
    Ignition timing
    Engine loading
    Miles per gallon
Miles per hour---calibrated to your tire size
    Manifold pressure
    RPM
    Throttle position setting
    Battery voltage

And best of all, reads and clears your codes should you throw one.

Now I just have to learn to pay attention to the road. An awesome gadget
From Unimog to VX - a serious change in velocity - a small sacrifice in voracity.

Sounds sweet! Fill me in, how much? Where'd you mount it? Got pics? I had all that stuff in my old jeep and really miss it!

Mounted on left side of dash, cord hides neatly along side trim, then right to plug under dash left side. Pics to follow. I paid $120 completey with tax to Tone for it.

    Cool-
If you happen to be anywhere near Venice you mind hooking up and showing it to me? I flew Tone out here and he briefly showed me the unit but I didn't really realize it was a diagnostic tool but also usable on the road-

This is a pic of my Scan Gauge install. I removed the fuzzy hole and ran the cable thru it and down to the OBDII connector. The box is velcroed along the bottom and right edge of the hole and is quite secure, works like an absolute charm. Discouraging though is the gas mileage when accelerating. It also would be nice if instead of storing the previous day, it kept a running total from last reset. This would require more memory but would be worth the extra cost to get, say, mileage for a tank of gas.

Also, $120 from Tone and delivered very quickly.
