    Have Cladding damage!

Ouch!!! Last night someone thumped the cladding on the left rear wheel well of my VX. The guy who did it was a real stand up dude. He could have split but he hunted me down in this country honky tonk bar I was in to tell me what he'd done. .....anyway where do I get a left rear 1/4 panel and how much are they???

Sorry to hear that John yet nice to hear that there are people with integrity left out there. Have you tried Saint Charles Isuzu for the panel?
From Unimog to VX - a serious change in velocity - a small sacrifice in voracity.

    Dwindling Parts Suppy

Have just got off the phone with St. Charles Isuzu. And also Sunset Mtrs Isuzu. Seems when GM took over Isuzu they did not take over the replacement part division. Isuzu replacement parts are not being manufactured and Isuzu is doing a disappearing act from the market. Isuzu re-distribution parts warehouses are using up existing inventories. Even fast moving stuff are being discontinued. The right rear plastic cladding has been back-ordered since for over 90 days and they don't know when it will get in, if ever....

I said, "what about this 12 year parts availability government mandate?" He said, after he stopped laughing, "Isuzu does whatever it wants". I asked them to give me he number of one of these warehouse's and I'll call them. He said they will hang up on you if you don't have a, "code #".......

Anybody out there knows where you find a right rear cladding panel???

They said they are having major backorder issues with even the Rodeo models and they have been getting faster service on some parts through the "Passport" division of Honda. He said, "Isuzu is going to "vaporize and as a pratical matter already has. "

I'm getting this very... ALONE feeling passing through my body??

Wow that stinks. Can it be repaired? I'd also check www.car-part.com for a listing. If they dont list the actual part you can always call the JY's that have VX's and ask.

I have a feeling we'll soon be regulated to hunting parts down in the JY's...
