    A-Pillar Removal

So, how do you remove the A-Pillars?

Just grab and pull - they will pop off. They're held on by metal clips in the rear. Start at the top and pull till you feel/hear it pop loose, then move down until you have it completely off.

You may have to slide it upward, then pull outward. I think there's a molded-in catch tab. You shouldn't have to force it.

I was thinking that same thing so I went out and did it. It does pull straight out but the bottom is wedged down into the dash so it must be pulled up to get the 'hook' you mentioned out of the slot.
