there are 2 drain plugs in the tranny pan.one is to drain and one is to check the level. the higher plug is for checking the fluid level. with car running in park, and fluid at running temp,remove the upper plug. fluid should be level with upper drain. shawn

Anyone that has changed the fluid or is about to change the fluid in their transmission care to do a little write up for the How To's Section?

Joe Black has some on his web site. Fluid should come out of the upper fill hole when you remove it at operating temp - if nothing comes out, it is low.
