    Cladding treatment question

I brushed against something and scraped the cladding on my VX. Not too bad. Just a rough spot about 4 inches square. Is there any way to treat it to remove the roughness?

    Thanks

I had one of those too. On the rear cladding except mine was a little bigger...ouch.
What I did(carefully) was to wet sand with very fine sandpaper until everything was fairly uniform. I took just a dab(very little) of paste black shoe polish and circle rubbed it in. Finally rub the hell out of it with a buffer getting most of the polish off and finished with a complete coat of armor-all.
Worked out pretty good,it's only noticable when you stick your nose right up to the damaged area.
    Good Luck with that.
