I guess the people of Connecticut and Rhode Island missed out on all the good names and stayed on the straight and narrow.
Well Connecticut did have Gaylordsville. And obviously Happyland, CT is a pretty gay place (if you're sticking to the original definition of gay). There were actually lots of them along those lines that I omitted.
I did see a Big Rock Candy Mountain listed for VT, but apparently its really some where else (MT, I think). But VT already has some pretty good (or bad) ones.
AK had all these places like Terror Cove, Terror Creek, Surprise Bay, Danger this and Murder that... I pretty much stayed away from the names for bodies of water though since there are lots and lots of those that are weird and they aren't settlements. But there was a Potty Brown Creek in CO, Idiot Creek in OR, etc. Also a lot of Dead Horses (AK again for one) but apparently none are actual settlements (same for lots of Dead Mans this and that) so I didn't include them. Same goes for mountains, like AK's Threesome Mountain, WV's Ugly Mountain, etc. I did toss in Poop Creek and Fubar Peak, though.

Halfway between Daytona and Orlando, we have Deltona and Deland. Deltona appears to be a mixing of the words Deland and Daytona, but then Deland may be a mix of Deltona and Orlando. Someone must have been flexing their brain to come up with those. LOL!

Oh yeah? Well if you want to include parks and stuff, about halfway between here and St. Augustine we have Faver Dykes State Park! :-)

I once passed the "Full House Bar and Grill". The sign said below the name, "Liquor in the front, poker in the rear".
Just say it out loud, you will get it.
