Dashboard Compatibility Question

Howdy VX'ers!

I was wondering if any other dashboard (and I mean the whole console) would fit in a VX. Ie. an Axiom's, Rodeo's or some other Make's dash....
I'm looking for a VX but, would love to put a more 'modern' looking dashboard in it. Has anyone tried or researched this?

1994-1997 Rodeo dash. Not sure if others will fit, but if you go down this road PLEASE keep us up to date - my only complaint with the VX is the old dash!

Definitely keep us in the loop with any finds, I'm in the same boat as you and am planning out a winter project to remodel the center console to modernize it and place a touch screen in it.

I've been looking around but, haven't yet gotten stubborn about it.... Once I find out what dash fits, I'll make sure to let everyone know!

The dash in my Axiom measures 54.75" wide, should fit but the center console may be a little difficult to get to fit. Here is a pic:

Spacetruckin redid his dash. He was going to offer them but I guess it became to big of a chore. I haven't seen him on the board in a while but he still owns his VX. You might try contacting him for some info/photos.
