Any reco's on CHIP for VX?

Has anyone installed a chip in the VX? Talked to a guy at gym today said his Axiom got almost 40 HP and gained 3 miles per gallon fuel milage.

There is no chip for the VX or Axiom - ask to see the dyno slip! Jet will reprogram the Isuzus with limited additonal power and you have to send them the ECU.

No no with JET, I used them before on my Acura Integra and there was NO difference. All they did was slap a JET sticker on it and charge me a butt load of cash. I WILL never use them again, unless I see some dyno results.

Please find out what chip he is using. It smells... like.... BS. Who knows he might know of something that we do not know about. The SC added 75hp over stock and we have dyno sheets to prove it... so I doubt that a chip on a NA engine will add 40HP.

I know that a unchip can be done but it will cost you BIG $$$$.

isnt that 75hp at the wheels? thats like 300hp at the flywheel. 40hp doesnt seem tat outrageous, tho it is alittle bit....

i believe featherfoot, was working on something like tat...u might want to pm him or email to see how far hes gotten

I guess this guy just had nothing jo say tand made up the entire chip story to hear himself...I myself did not no if it were true or not. I thought 40 HP sounded extreme for that mod as well. With gas hitting 61 a barrell today really need some ideas to save get improved gas milage....

Lots of 'chip' upgrades are just stickertuned. Seen this myself on mitsubishi, where we did ecu dump afterwards, and there were NO changes made.

Loosen wheel bearings, inflate tires to max, turn off ignition at long stops, use brakes as little as possible, drive "with the wind", drive downhill as much as possible. "Draft" the guy in front of you .
