    X74??

    Anyone ever heard the VX model name of X74??
    I just saw this on Ebay.... never heard the X74 name before.
    Curious......

    I was going to guess that it was a component of the VIN, but after checking the listing for the vehicle's VIN, I see it's not that. Hmmm.

    It's a number off of the dealers prep tag but, I can't read the category it's under.. I dig my sticker out and see if I can see what it says.

    Maybe it is a body style/ model designation.

    For example:
    pre 1985 Jeep Wranglers were know as CJ
    1985 - 1995 Jeep Wranglers are known as YJ
    1997 - pres Jeep Wranglers are known as TJ
    Old postal jeeps where DJ

    There where also additional numbers or letters to designate small changes. CJ2A, CJ2B, CJ3A, etc But basicly for Jeeps it designates the changes in the body designes.
