Thinking about this tire/wheel combo...
For wheels, the American Racing black Teflon-coated Chamber series 3985. These can be viewed here:

I am interested in the two 16x8 wheels they have available with our 6x5.5 bolt circle. Here is the choice:
(A) 0 offset, 4.50 backspace
(B) +20 offset, 5.25 backspace (website says this fits Colorado/Canyon)
Given this, which wheel would you choose? I would like to bring the tires out to even with the fender cladding, but not exceeding that. Will the 4.50 backspacing for Wheel A push them out a bit too far? On the hand, is the +20 offset of Wheel B too much?
I am not certain on whether or not the center bore would be a problem in fitting these wheels to a VX. Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon center bore seems to be 100.3. The VX lists at 108, but I believe I have read that the Canyon/Colorado wheels are a good fit for us. Is this true?
The tires I want to pair these with are BFG All-Terrain T/A KO, size LT255/70R16, load range D. If I remember correctly, stock wheel diameter with 245's is 29.5. The 255's would up that slightly to 30.2. Speedometer variiance would be pretty negligible, right?
My VX is a 1999 currently on stock 16x7 rims, no lift. I believe 255's are as high as I can go with no need for trimming.
