    Question Your Driving Songs

Just wondering what you all like to listen to in your VX. I know this has been discussed before, but it's been a long time since the subject has come up. I just burned a new CD for cruising in the VX, and her's my own eclectic mix...

Start Me Up - The Rolling Stones
Hell On Wheels - Fu Manchu
Born To Be Wild - Steppenwolf
    My Wheels - Field Mob
Fast Cars, Fast Women - Craig David
Mud On The Tires - Brad Paisley
Pedal To The Metal - Kazzer
    Eatin' Dust - Fu Manchu
    I Can't Drive 55 - Sammy Hagar
Wheels Of Fire - Judas Priest
You Win My Love - Shania Twain
    Hot Wheels - Jim Crow
Need For Speed - Petey Pablo
Drive It Like I Stole It - Apathy
    Rollin' - Limp Bizkit
Wheels Of Fire - Man O' War
Take It Away - The Used
Four Wheel Drive - John Michael Montgomery
Driving My Life Away - Eddie Rabbitt
Ride Like The Wind - Christopher Cross

#1 has to be Southbound Pachyderm by Primus. That song just gets me going and lets everyone around me know that I am a force to be reckoned with.

Then, my fun jam tune is Windowlicker by Aphex Twin.

Having my pretty beefy system allows me to be a complete nuisance if I feel the need.

Oh, and if I am REALLY in a mood, I get a little weird on people. I will pop in some Afro Celt Sound System. ANYTHING by them. Just imagine Celtic/World Drum and Bass.... ya, weird, but awesome.

Hey WormGod, if you like Afro-Celtic music, check out a band called Brother. They are Scottish by way of Australia and have some awesome Celtic Rock with Digeridoo's and stuff.

If I were to limit "driving" music to songs that explicitly mention driving a vehicle, I'd have to say that my favorites are:
    -Radar Love = Golden Earring
-Asleep at the Wheel = The Bloodhound Gang
-Hit and Run Holiday = The Thrill Kill Kult
-Jesus Built My Hotrod = Ministry
-40 Miles to Vegas = Southern Culture on the Skids

...and some more that escape me at the moment. I really should sit down with the collection and burn a real driving CD.

The Wrens: This Boy Is Exhausted
At the Drive-In: One Armed Scissor

    RA
    Thievery Corporation
    Flyleaf
    Avenge Sevenfold
    Celldweller
    Aretha Franklin
    Bif Naked

    Just to name a few....
