1999 of the 1999 production run!
I really like that two-toned look. Not bad.
Y'all figure that's paint or a fresh coat of McGuire's on that there cladding?
I have to say I like the plain cladding better than painted. Painted cladding makes the VX look less rugged to me.
Now, I do like the spray on bedliner. That is actually pretty sweet, and can actually serve a purpose.

Dang, whatever was done to that cladding, should have been done to the hood insert. Looks like a junkyard frankenstein. Reminds me of an old camaro my dad had with two different color doors...
Stick with what works.
Hey, hitnrun; Careful--- You're talking about my new ride! I figure if after awhile it needs repaint, I'll get it linex'd, including the hood insert. My Dodge Ram diesel is linex'd in the bed and the rocker panels (3 years now) and has held up very well.
'99 silver over custom gray, 255/70/16 Yokohama Geolander AT 2's,
I almost bought that one! If you didn't know, the seller told me that the rear bumper had damage.
Randy; Brent Lloyd, my salesman, has been a straight shooter and seems very trustworthy. He told me and showed me a pic of the damage. It's already been repaired (at my request)and I bought a 7 year/100k warranty thru Warranty Gold. New tires ,too(265/70/16's). Think I've got the bases covered for awhile! Just curious, why didn't you get it?
I decided to only look at yellow 2000-2001 models!
Randy; All I can say is THANKS!! Also, best wishes in your search for the proton vx .
