Definitely an alarm issue - the key was when you said it wouldn't turn over. The VX has a stock alarm system - why do people change it??? I've had too many experiences with aftermarket alarms where you have to hold your hand at the right angle, pray to the alarm God, face south, and kiss your arse goodbye to get the vehicle to start sometimes.....WHY???If someone can defeat the factory alarm - they can defeat the aftermarket alarm - spend your money in more productive areas. I realize you didn't put this alarm on - you're only dealing with the aftermath. My advice - remove it. As soon as you can!
