New Yok's installed and you won't believe it!!!!

Had the new Yok's 285\60\18 installed Friday and well the good news is they look great, but, they RUB!!!!AAAHHHHHHHHH! I spent months researching and posting attemptingh to avoid the dredded TRIM... In any backing and turning situation the rub the front cladding corners. I did not want to trim my cladding. Discout Tire was ready to start hacking cladding away but I chose to wait and see what to do myself first. I got out the door with all four tres installed adn replacement insurance for 860$.... VX looks so extremely different with these taller and wider tires, I could not get over it.....

    Arrow

You could always do the OME springs in the back and a ball-joint flip with torsion adjust in the front. Get about 1" to 1.5" of lift and save the precious and scarce cladding. You'd keep the big meat and get the attitude in the stance.

    Simple and effective.

If you can get your hands on a disc grinder, i highly suggest it over a sawzall. A cutoff disc tears through the rubber like butter leaving nice clean cuts, and a grinding disc then cleans up any imperfections. 15 minutes leaves a perfect cut. Of course, when I did mine, I NEEEDED a grinder, cause I had to cut through some metal, too.
