    Radio help -- MP3 player

I've got a question for those who have done some stereo modding in their VX. I bought that Omnifi Rockford Fosgate DMP1 mp3 player. My question is, I'd like to pull the stock CD changer out, put this in its place and then use the stock headunit in the "CD" mode to listen to the MP3's. Is that possible? Would I need to add an FM modulator instead, or would the "CD Changer" button on the stock head unit work as an AUX port?

I have this product hooked up to my stock stereo (2000 Trooper). You MUST keep your stock CD changer to use it, though:

    The other option is this:

You MUST remove the CD-Changer to use this one.

    There is also:

and a whole assortment here, many of which should work if you choose the 98-02 option for Toyota.

    I just ordered a TOY-AUX, thank you!!

I have probably used the CD changer two times since I've owned the vehicle. I don't really own any CD's, and when I have tried to listen to it, it works so funky that I got stressed out over it anyway. Mine at least takes almost a minute to load and finally start playing a CD. Now I'll just load all my MP3's up and play them instead of burning them to disk. nice!

thanks for the help, I really appreaciate it!

    Control

Can you control the DMP1 from the head unit with that adapter? I was just curious...Also, which adapter do you need to install an aftermarket head unit in a vehicross or do you not need one???
