I notice there is fairly high concentration of pilots in this forum! I too am a Private Pilot with Instrument Rating. There must be some sort of thrill factor connection.......

Yeah, there's quite a few "fly boys" in the family. Getting ready to do the biannual via tailwheel or float ticket and get back in the air myself after a short hiatus. SEL VFR rated and looking to go Instrument eventually.
We've also got a few ERAU alumni here as well. I attended 86-88 but didn't graduate the Air Science program.
Over 20 years of Isuzu enjoyment...
Middle Tennessee State University alumni......Aerospace Program here
I went to Embry-Riddle ('85-99.5). I'm currently flying a Falcon 900.
I'm type rated in that, the Challenger 600/601, and the Learjet.
There is actually another post identical to this one in existance already on the board. I didn't fly them but I did fix them and keep them flying. I was an EA-6B (Intruder) electrician in the Marine Corp.

I've got this thing going on for female flight attendants...is that the curse of the VX too?
I was a Pathfinder for many years -lots of flying (and giving aircrews bad directions).
There was a joke about an airplane being a hole in the sky that you throw money through.
Maybe that's the connection, as my VX seems to be a hole in the driveway that I keep throwing money into.
I used to jump out of them.....not the V....yet....does that count?

I used to kick some serious butt on Chuck Yeager's Air Combat flight sim.
