Hello,
This is for those who have lifted their VX using OME912 springs...
Did the ride comfort change when you added the springs? Did it get softer, harder, stay the same??
Thanks!

I don't think it changed the ride much at all. Just the larger tires made it a bit slower off the line. If you crank your torsion bars all the way it will be stiff. So since I tightened mine quite a bit it got a little stiffer but the extra travel makes it almost seem the same. Of course you do loose some of the car like handling. I find myself slowing down a lot more for corners than I used to, but it doesn't feel tipsy at all.
2001 Ironman Daily Driver... 3.5" suspension lift (OME912 springs and 1" spring spacer), ball joint flip, 1.5" front diff. drop, 33"x12.5 TrXus MT, 16x10 Eagle Alloy rims, Interceptor, PV muffler, K&N air filter, Alpine Supercharger, Bilstein shocks, and some trimming.
2000 Ironman Project LS-1 VX... very slow progress but someday....... ohhhhh someday......
Very little change on my VX
I agree...very little difference. I lifted it for Moab this year and am thinking seriously about dropping it back down. The process is only 2-3 hours but we require front end alignment...I miss that good handling on the Atlanta freeways.
