    Muddy Fun!

    Hi,
On Sunday, I had my first real try at MUD!!!
My Fiance and I went to the Dry Lake Bed near Boulder City, NV.
To our surprise... it wasn't dry! There was probably about 4-5 feet of water in the middle that spanned about 1/2 mile in diameter. The entire perimeter was pure mud.
After figuring out what speed/power I needed to use to get through the mud, we both began to relax a bit (we were freaking out because we thought we'd get stuck with nobody around).
Some of the watery areas were a litte dangerous. I smooshed my front license plate a bit. (was going too fast).
Man... talk about fun. The VX just ATE IT UP!
The most fun was a 2 foot deep, car width, 50 foot long puddle that we powered through (length wise)! NO PROBLEM! This VX never ceases to amaze me.
Unfortunatly, I don't have any pics of the lake bed. I have aftermath pics though!

I just got my VX a few months ago, and had not ventured off the road too much up until now. We recently got some rain and I decided to try it out in the mud. I have stock tires and it wasn't all that muddy yet, so i didn't go too far. But I would like to find someone that could pull me out, just in case, and see just what the stock tires can do in the mud.

What is the deepest mud anyone has driven through with the stock tires?

I drove HALFWAY across a muddy creekbed on stock tires. 4-8 inches deep. Ended up digging in the front diff and packing up the treads on the tires.

I had to get pulled out by a pickup
