Looks GREAT! Kinda of a cross between an FX and the new ML Benz...

I'll take one in black pearl, keep the chrome accents, and add some black 22's with a silver lip.
That is WHACK! LOVE IT!
The price you pay to be different......
I like those sunroof panels....
Very nice. I love Opels!

Those side mounted exhaust cut-outs are yummy.
BE-autiful, might be time to think about the replacement! Man that sure looks to have a lot of Nissan/Infinity influence - the console mounted shift lever, the back window, the roof line, the twin "sideways" sunroofs!
"If you're not living on the edge --- you're taking up too much space!!"
That interior would be sweet in black leather. I like gauge cluster.
I dunno, seems to be inline with the rest of Opel's line, if you ask me. www.opel.com - www.speedster.opel.com <- yummyOriginally Posted by Raque Thomas

I saw the pics in my newspaper today.
You forgot to mention its 1.9 liter biturbo DIESEL engine with 212 hp. and 400 Nm of torque , it's 0-60 time in 8 seconds and that it will be on sale next year.
It will be built by Daewoo, so it will probably be maketed under the brand name CHEVROLET here in the Netherlands.
I'm gonna check it out at IAA in Frankfurt.
If it's as good as I think, this will be the sucessor of my VX!
VX : CLOSEST THING TO A CONCEPT CAR!
Looks like it is going to be the next Saturn Vue...

FRANKFURT -- The Opel Antara GTC mid-sized SUV unveiled by General Motors on Monday at the Frankfurt auto show is more than just a concept.
It is the next Saturn Vue.
At a media sneak preview, GM said the Antara will go into production in the fourth quarter next year, and that it represents Saturn’s future design direction.
The Antara concept “will be identical to the future Saturn Vue,” GM Vice Chairman Robert Lutz said. “They can build it in a U.S. plant, and it will be identical.”
General Motors Europe designed the Antara with U.S. production in mind, both in terms of U.S. regulations and plant assembly, Lutz said.
The next Vue, which is built in Spring Hill, Tenn., is “a few years away,” he said.
A GM spokesperson said the Opel version will be manufactured in Korea.
Lutz said GM’s plan is to rebadge the Antara and unveil it as the next Vue at the New York auto show.
GM has said Saturn will benefit from Opel’s design capabilities.
Insiders have said the next-generation 2007 Saturn Ion also will share the same design language as the next Opel Astra.
Saturn, in general, will have the same vehicles as Opel and Vauxhall.
“The difference between Opel and Vauxhall in Europe and Saturn in the U.S. was a difference that wasn’t producing any benefits for us,” Lutz said.
Saturn has been “a brand in search of a design identity,” he said.
Lutz said some of the shared vehicles will be designed in the United States.
I wonder if it (as the next-generation Vue) will come equipped with the Honda-built V6 engine as well. That would be impressive.
However, the 'built by Daewoo" comment worries me -Daewoo wasn't well received in the US, and quite a few Daewoo owners were abandoned by their dealers when the maufacturer went under. How terrible would that be??!?
Wait until they slap two more doors on it an take away everything that makes it look good......
the european version will be produced in korea, while the us version will be built here
