    JDM Stereo Removal

    Hi,

DOes anyone in here with a JDM version know how to remove the OE stereo/display unit? I need access to the areal and power so I can fit a frequency expander. Any help appreciated.

    Thanks
    Paul

Hi, Basically you have to remove the whole frame to remove the player.
After removing the screws the frame is held by snap (stuff) pull it slowly. the player is held by 4 screws.
I'm not sure if it is much help, but the removal is not too hard. Actually while you're back there, place a bit of padding on the top of the player, (make sure the player has enough ventilation) Mine sometimes rattles without the padding and is quite annoying.

Thanks for that - one more chore knocked off the list.
