    Complaints

    Since I didn't see this in the lineup yet, I thought I'd start it. Let's restrict this posting to simple facts, no comments for ease of reference. Please use the following format: (In no specific order of problems)

    Here is my list:

    COMPLAINT #1: Windows binding
    Number of times addressed: 6
    Current status: Unresolved

    COMPLAINT #2: CD Player scratching/stalled.
    Number of times addressed: 1
    Current status: Working

    COMPLAINT #3: Hood insert Cracking
    Number of times addressed: 2
    Current status: Bowed

    I am the 2nd owner of a 2001 Ebony VX with 10,038 miles, purchased May 13th 2004.
    Here is my list.........

    * Complaint # 1: Passenger window not closing all the way. After passenger side window regulator replaced, driver's side window went bad one week after passenger window was fixed.

    * Number of times addressed: Two times.

    * Current status: Driver's side window is slow when closing.

    * Complaint # 2: Both driving light seals flapping in the wind.

    * Number of times addressed: Two times.

    * Current status: Okay, so far.

    * Complaint # 3: Water pooling on driver's side floor board.

    * Number of times addressed: Four times.

    * Current status: Not fixed.

    * Complaint # 4: Padding under carpet and covering firewall, on driver's side, smells awful from water leak.

    * Number of times addressed: Two times. Service department treated padding.

    * current status: Smell is still there!

    * Complaint # 5:Service department workers scratched up both front custom painted hub caps, while repairing torn cv boots.

    * number of times addressed: Two times.

    * Current status: Service dept. manager called me back and wants to look at the damage.

    * Complaint # 6: Overall customer service and treatment by service dept. personnel.

    * Number of times addressed: 0

    * Current status: Issues with service dept. have not been addressed yet, but, will in the very near future.

    2000 IronMan purchased at 53k, now 64k

    *Complaint#1:
    took in for 60k service at 58k. Isuzu service dept. found leak in rear diff,
    noted AT temperature code.

    Number of times adressed 1

    Issue resolved:
    Transmission replaced under 60k warranty, rear diff seal replaced, no charge
    From Unimog to VX - a serious change in velocity - a small sacrifice in voracity.
